Player Spotlight: Madison Phillips
Class of 2026
Hometown: Potomac, Maryland

Madison is a Social Work major with a minor in Communications.

Why Madison was nominated…
"Madison has been on the team with us since her freshman year. She is always kind on and off the court. Throughout her freshman year, she cheered us on by checking in and wishing us luck. Not only is she a positive light during practice and matches, she is also a fierce competitor. Our first match of the season Madison came from a charity 5K. She helped get people involved in the charity 5K, participated in it, then rushed home to grab her rackets and come play. When she got to the courts, she had to wait a few hours in the boiling heat until her match since she was going on in the third round. As many athletes know waiting around can create not the best environment for a good performance but Madison was able to win 6-3 in the deciding match helping Fairfield win the tournament overall and beat UNH for the first time ever. Being one of the younger members on the team, Madison did not let the nerves get to her and helped our team massively. We are so excited to have her on the court with us!"
