What made you decide FairfieldU?
"I really enjoyed the beauty of the campus itself and knew I wanted to go to a school where I could get involved easily both academically and athletically at competitive and non-competitive levels."
How long have you played soccer and ultimate? Favorite part about playing soccer and ultimate?
"I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and picked up Ultimate Frisbee sophomore year here! My favorite part would have to be meeting people and making friends along the way."
What would you tell someone who was interested in playing a club sport?
"Go for it! You meet so many new people, not only in your grade but older and younger, that can help guide you through college. If it's something you are interested in and something you crave, don't stop trying out for the team!"
What is your favorite memory or moment as a student-athlete?
"One of my favorite memories from Club Frisbee would have to be the first practice I was able to successfully throw and catch a frisbee because not only was I excited but I also had an entire team of people who celebrated alongside me. For Soccer, some of my favorite memories would have to be the car rides to and from away games because it's a bonding experience and everyone gets so much closer."
Favorite warm-up song: Bonfire by Childish Gambino
Who is your role model/inspiration, and why? (Athletic or Not athletic)
"Bob Ross is an amazing inspiration with his belief that you can do anything you want because it's your world. This is how I go about my day and make choices on and off the field."
What is the best advice you have ever received from a coach?
"Growing up I had the same coach in little league, club, and high school and he would always say "you're too hard on yourself" and in order to succeed you have to recognize that it's hard work and not just pure talent. That always made me appreciate the little accomplishments in life and how you can't always be perfect at everything."
